Observation is a powerful thing. As you consider the next level of leadership in your organization, are you observing those in the levels above you and questioning, based on their behavior, whether you want to go there?
If so … then ask yourself what behaviors should be exhibited in a particular position. Don’t concentrate on the individual in that position, focus on the behaviors you believe are required to make that work successful. That’s where you want to go.
