“Work/Life Balance” – This phrase has become a buzzword; and that is not good. Once in the buzzword classification, people cease to believe there is meaning or any productive, sincere intent behind the word or phrase.
What we need in the 21st Century is, not only a true meaning and understanding of balance, but a practical way to achieve it.
The first step is to realize that it is not the responsibility of your organization … it is yours. Secondly, you must understand that true balance is internal – not external.
