As the writing process is still underway, it remains unknown how successful my book will be. And what is success anyway?
Will it sell? How good will I be at promoting it? What all may develop and evolve after it is published? It will be interesting to visit the answers to these and other questions in a year from now.
For the moment, I am satisfied with what I receive from the act of writing. As you might imagine, to write with frequency and consistency is to fiercely fight the attacks of judgment. Is my work good enough? Will people read my work? Will they excitedly tell others about the work?
And again I say, I am satisfied with what I receive from the consistent act of writing. This is so because I’ve been able to keep my voice active as I write. I write because my voice is active.
