As I coach individuals into 21st Century leadership, I’m continually amazed at the power of unleashing the basics.
My second learning involves the energy of freedom. I’m finding this a very common value among those aspiring to 21st Century leadership. Common as it may be though, it is defined finely and uniquely depending on the individual’s personality, preferences, and other congruent values.
The freedom we so often seek is external – even when we may be saying, “I just want to be free to be me.” Being too caught up in what it looks like on the outside, we are not fully conscious of what it must first be internally.
My second learning is about the energy of freedom. The freedom sought by the individual leader is not an outcome. It is a source energy that comes from within.
Jeff,
I knew that when you come back from your break the best would come out.
Freedom is a key ingredient to achieveing success, I know that with freedon different success stories are told.
but most times people abuse the freedom they get, and use it to destroy themselves.
Way to go Jeff.
Thanks for sharing.
