I often get asked, “What personality type makes the best Leader?” My response is always the same. “Every type.”
Based on varying profiles available, many organizations make the mistake of assuming that the most aggressive and dominant styles (Type A, Reds, Dominance) make the best candidates for leadership positions. This is simply a result of misuse of the information provided by a personality profile. This is a sad assumption to make and you know what they say about assume … it makes an ass out of u and me.
No matter what your personality type is, the only difference between you and the most effective Leader you admire is an application of skills, tools, and tips all wrapped around your unique strengths – what you know you do best – and what you love to do.
Personality profiles simply help you identify some basic strengths based on your type (getting you more conscious).
