Impact, Bringing Planning to Life – Part 3 of 3

Once a Leader has brought life to planning by putting the what and why before the how – all in an effort to find the right how – she/he then brings the plan to life.

Effective Leadership is about getting things done – yes! And it’s about getting the right things done in the right way. And Leaders are judged by not only what they get done, but also in how they get it done.

The Leader brings the plan to life through his/her behavior. Implicitly, the Leader’s values and beliefs drive their behavior. Explicitly, the Leader establishes mission and systems that drive organizational behavior (the collaborative behavior of the collective).

This is implementation, integration, and execution … this is bringing a plan to life.
