A Season of Preparation

It was what I thought would be a simple follow-up appointment with someone who had completed my Level I Coaching Program. How wonderfully wrong I was.

I was amazed at all the actions he had taken based on his Personal/Professional Development Story (the “receipt” of my Level I Program). He had taken it all very seriously – he had taken it home. He and his wife took some organized time away from it all and created a Family Vision. I am inspired by this Client!

I am about to enter my season of preparation – a time of planning for 2008 and beyond. This is where I review my goals and  set new strategies for the present in light of these goals. Inspired by my Client, I’m including my family in this time. This is a time where we can take special time, in a special space, to talk about now and the future. It is a time for us to connect with each others desires, ask questions, make suggestions, and continue to envision life as we desire. It is a time to see how we ought to build on the vision.

Now – to get this time, and space, I’m having to jealously protect my calendar for the month of December. This is the right thing for me to do. I’ve started blocking the days. It is now time to complete the list – the list of things that need to be allowed in this time of preparation.

I wish  for you a wonderful season of planning, of preparation, of seeing and appreciating your blessings.

About Jeff Brunson

In this whirling 21st Century the individual needs to embrace the authentic self and confidently leverage the energy and power found there. As we entered the 21st Century, I became more concerned about what leaders like you needed for successful influence and personal fulfillment. As we move deeper into this challenging 21st Century, I’m more convinced than ever that the core of my work is in helping individual leaders remember who they are − a trueness. It is about confidence found in your authenticity.
