Actively Waiting

Tenatience. If this was a ‘real’ word, what would it mean?

The word formed in my mind by allowing the words tenacity and patience to collide. These two words collided for me thanks to the very thought provoking words of the Rev. Earle Barron. My attention was captured by the tractor beam of his message when he said, “You grab a goal … a vision grabs you.”

Tenacity is the holding on … persistence.
Patience is the ability to calmly wait for what is desired.

We become a special person when we can actively wait – persistently move the pieces forward while waiting for the right outcome – holding firm to the steps we know are right even when things seem to be out of logical sequence.

Securely holding the goal because the vision holds you.

Maybe this is tenatience.

About Jeff Brunson

In this whirling 21st Century the individual needs to embrace the authentic self and confidently leverage the energy and power found there. As we entered the 21st Century, I became more concerned about what leaders like you needed for successful influence and personal fulfillment. As we move deeper into this challenging 21st Century, I’m more convinced than ever that the core of my work is in helping individual leaders remember who they are − a trueness. It is about confidence found in your authenticity.
