The Power in the Unfolding Story

He agreed to own the skill of Storytelling for his Level II Coaching Pod of seven.

We were reviewing recent accomplishments of which he is most proud and what he did to achieve these things. One thing was clear, he is a good strategic Storyteller.

His influential achievements were due in large part to his ability to create a good story and tell it often – tell it tirelessly to all the right parties – and as often as needed in its smaller parts. It was clear that he was adaptable; tweaking his Story as he went along to make it more compelling.

Then he said what may be one off the most important bits of advice for a Leader using Story: “We cannot wait to tell a Story until its 100% complete. You miss the power in the unfolding of the Story.”

About Jeff Brunson

In this whirling 21st Century the individual needs to embrace the authentic self and confidently leverage the energy and power found there. As we entered the 21st Century, I became more concerned about what leaders like you needed for successful influence and personal fulfillment. As we move deeper into this challenging 21st Century, I’m more convinced than ever that the core of my work is in helping individual leaders remember who they are − a trueness. It is about confidence found in your authenticity.
