A Strategy for Performance Management

In the 21st Century, people want three basic things from work:

1) They want to know clearly what is expected of them

2) They want the freedom to deliver on those expectations

3) They want to know how they are doing against those expectations

In light of managing performance, this pretty much sums up your strategy as the leader.
